Amarnath Yatra 2018 application registration is commenced now. The website shri amaranth shrine board has given guidelines for 2018 entry and application process. But many people who appear for registration will be in groups only. The board cannot issue end number of applications at only one bank. So this year group travellers registration is allowed.
Why Amarnath yatra Group Registration started?
Many people are asking board for giving permission to Group pilgrimage. But due to security and accommodation reasons, It was not entertained till 2016. But board improved many facilities. Process and guidelines are issued separately this year. The group travelling pilgrims must choose separate travelling dates. The Timings for their entry from Pahalgam or Balatal is separate from normal application.
Steps for Amarnath yatra Group Registration 2018:
A group is considered for application with more than 5 members as a single pack. The application is to be sent by registered post to the CEO or Amarnath Shrine Board.

By looking above details, Group travel Application Registration starts from March 1st to 31st May 2018.
The last date is considered is end of May. But applications are accepted on first come and first served basis. There were only 50 entry passes are allotted per day. No guarantee is given for selection of Route.
The leader of group must send the documents of each member to the board. List of documents to be submitted for Amarnath Yatra Group registration.
Filled in Application Forms for Travel Passes (can be downloaded from website)
CHC (Compulsory health Certificates) issued by the Authorised doctors and medical institutions.
Four Passport Sized Photographs of each applicant. One must be signed back side.
Registration fees for One Yatri is 150 rupees.
Email address, Mobile number of applicant as well as group guardian or leader.
The postal charges will be 50 rupees for each 5 member group. Maximum 50 members are given entry in a single group.
The DD must be drawn in name of Chief Accounts Officer, Shri Amarnathji Srhine Board.
Age limit is applicable for group travel also.
A phone call or intimation alert will be sent to group leader. The leader should answer the call to confirm the registration and choose the next applicable date ASAP.
When above step is done, Yatri Permits are given and sent to applicants leader directly. Previously issued CHC certificates are not applicable. They must be signed after Feb 28th Only.
